BikeCAD Pro version 17.0 was released June 11, 2021. Version 17.0 includes the following enhancements:
- Export to FreeCAD option allows for frames and wheels to be imported into the 3D environment of FreeCAD.
- The rider can be pictured with a variety of different helmet styles.
- Rear end geometry can be specified by distance from rear axle to back edge of seat tube.
- More built in drawings for various rear dropouts.
- Additional eBike motors.
- Added top view of aerobars.
- Added more yokes.
- Additional brand logos.
- New Bulgarian translation.
BikeCAD Pro version 17.1 was released July 4, 2021. Version 17.1 includes the following enhancements:
- Added Paragon Machine Works DS0005BD (DS1005BD, DS1006BD) dropout
- Added option to display dimensions horizontally.
- Added tire height dimension.
- Added dropper post stroke dimensions.
- Additional brand logos.
BikeCAD Pro version 17.5 was released October 28, 2021. Version 17.5 includes the following enhancements:
- New option to control rear end geometry by both chain stay length and rear axle to seat tube at the same time.
- Use the Fit advisor to calculate values for Front center, Head tube length, Handlebar from BB (X and Y), Stack, Reach, and BB to hands.
- Improved Export to FreeCAD option
- Option to include single water bottle boss.
- When exiting program, now have three options: Save and quit, Quit without saving, and Cancel which returns to the program.
- Added additional dropouts
- Added chainring radius dimensions.
- Additional brand logos.
- Improved legibility of tabs in MacOS
