BikeCAD in Action Forum

This year at NAHBS, the BikeCAD booth was opposite the booth of legendary builder and NAHBS president Don Walker. While the media was obviously more drawn to Don's booth, we appreciated everyone that came by to see us as well. As you can see from the time-lapse video below, it was a busy weekend for everyone at NAHBS. Already looking forward to next year in Louisville.

I've just wrapped up a successful weekend at the 2014 North American Handmade Bicycle Show. This year's event was in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was there to promote BikeCAD Pro.

Being so busy with my own booth, I didn't have a lot of time to explore the show, but here are some shots I took of the new builders section. Nice to see BikeCAD Pro users well represented here.

Here's a nice profile on Caletti Cycles by Easton Cycling. In this video we can see how the pure and simple look of John Caletti's high performance bikes is totally consistent with the immaculate shop in which they are produced. Happy to see drawings from BikeCAD Pro among the tools used to produce these amazing machines.

Great segment from Shaw TV on Sam Whittingham, founder, designer and builder for Naked Bicycles of Quadra Island, British Columbia. What a beautiful setting for building bikes!

I was thrilled to see this video profile of Chris Dekerf of Dekerf Cycle Innovations. Chris took me under his wing for two of my university internships. I have so much respect for this man. I like how Chris's down to earth personality and sense of humour comes through in this video. I'm also proud to see the BikeCAD drawings on his work bench. When drawing frames for Chris back in the day, I realized a real need for an affordable parametric design tool for bikes.

Thrilled to see some exposure for both Dutch Made Precision Bikes and BikeCAD Pro on Dutch TV!

So proud to see BikeCAD Pro put to use in the design of this amazing bike by Tom Donhou.

While I regret I don't speak Korean, I was thrilled to see BikeCAD displayed on Korean TV!

Enjoyed this short documentary by Ross Williams about DeSalvo Custom Cycles in Ashland, Oregon. Proud that Mike uses BikeCAD Pro in his design process.
