BikeCAD Pro How To Forum

I'm not sure if it is possible somehow, but unfortunately I couldn't find any way to take a kickstand into account. I wanna build a bike with a two-legged stand, therefore I wanted to check the chainstay length, tire clearence, crank clearence etc. Is there some workaround to do this?

Thanks,

Quirin.

Kickstand

Although BikeCAD doesn't currently have a built in way to account for kickstands, in general the option to create your own dimensions as described at: bikecad.ca/user_dimensions can be a helpful way to check if a component of a known dimension is going to fit where you want it.

Another thing to consider is if you have a solid model of the kickstand in question, you can export your design to FreeCAD and then add the kickstand to the 3D model there.
