Through-axles?

I'm wanting to use through-axles on my design (either 142x12 / 100x15mm or the latest Boost configuration), but I don't see it available anywhere.
Is there a way to do this? If not, is it planned to be added? If it's been addressed before, I couldn't find any info about it! :)

Thanks-Colin

Two things I can't seem to get rid of

I've adjusted the chain ring size to (46) and (30) for a double, however it appears there are chain rings on the non drive side of original (53/39) size. I'm sure there's an easy way to get rid of that but I can't seem to figure it out.

The second thing I'm having an issue with getting rid of are the original STI shifters. I've "included tektro brake levers" and I've changed the shifters to downtube but the original brifters have not seemed to go away.

Thanks in advance.

Ryan

In a prior version of BikeCAD, I believe it was possible to alter the angle/shape of the top of the seat tube.

(I originally posted this in the free version on accident)

Specifying document size in PDF export

Guy Washburn

Greetings,

I am trying to create a full size printout to lay out my tubes on for markup.

I make only the frame itself visable and export to a pdf. When I open the PDF the dimension is 46" wide which is too big for the local rint shop max of 36".

I have tried it with and without a title box and setting the free space in the box down to a couple of mm, tried the 3 available aspect ratios, but it still generates a 46" wide pdf. I really don't want to tile 36" pages to print a lot of white space.

Help!

Guy

Hello Brent,

I've updated my PC to Windows 10. Now when I try to launch BikeCAD Pro 12.5 I get the following message 'Can't extract configuration files'

I'm selecting Java Platform SE Binary to open it with.

Any ideas?

Cheers, John

Modelling chain stays from drawings

Good evening all,

Im pretty much brand new to cycle design and frame building, and having BikeCAD Pro to visualise my idea prior to cutting anything is brilliant. Im finding the software largely very intuitive, but have a pretty noob question all the same.

Im sure theres something glaringly obvious that im missing but it's late and the ol grey matter isnt firing on all cylinders.
