Chain Stay and Rear Brake Bridge Placement

Hi Brent.

I can not find way to place the chain stay or rear brake bridges on either the main or auxiliary stay display. I would like to sdisplay the distance from the centre of the bridges to the centre of the rear axle so I can work out the relationship between fender placement, outer tire diameter, brake reach and the rim.

Thanks,
Evan

The chain stay bridge is controlled at the bottom of the chain stay dialog box. Note that chain stay bridges will only be available for non-wishbone stays. One of the inputs allows you to enter the distance from the rear axle to the center of the bridge. If the bridge has a brake hole, then the bridge is located by the distance from the rear axle to the outer face of the brake hole, not the center of the bridge. Seat stay bridges are similarly controlled through input fields at the bottom of the seat stay dialog box.

Doh! I've been happily puttering away in version 7.11 in blissful ignorance until the fender fit issue came up. Everything the doctor order is there in 8.1 plus a lot more. Keep up the great work and thanks again for the super fast response!

Evan (make note-to-self to check on release updates in future)
