Combining the most iconic mid-century design elements with modern components, GREY STEEL BIKEWORKS Llc is a complete bicycle design and fabrication facility located in Houston, TX.  With a passion to create comfortable and efficient Sport-touring and Randonneur bicycles, designs are sized precisely from fit measurements to optimize a rider's core strength/power.  Italian and Japanese butted steel tubing is filet brazed, hand painted and offered as a frameset only or as a complete bicycle. Wheelsets are made in-house. Our preferred wheels are 650b with high flange hubs, stainless butted spokes and polished rims. A choice of 38 or 42 mm tires are recommended.  Front-rack, fenders and full-time dynamo lighting complete a design.
