BikeCAD Pro version 11 was released March 11, 2014. Version 11 includes the following enhancements:
- Model tandem bicycles.
- Add extra tubes to the front triangle.
- Additional seat stay dimensions available.
- Additional brand logos added.
- Updated German, Italian and Japanese translations.
BikeCAD Pro version 11.5 was released August 1, 2014. Version 11.5 includes the following enhancements:
- Model fillets to better represent smooth joints.
- Choose from standard head tubes including tapered profiles.
- Obtain center to center tube lengths accounting for phase blocks in Sputnik Tool's mitering fixture.
- Integrate fork into the paint scheme of the frame.
- Option to mount seat stays to seat tube pinch boss.
- New option for creating angular user dimensions.
- New Desert fox dimension for jig setup.
- UCI regulations take into account tandems.
- Miter templates take into account tandem tubes and extra tubes.
- Down tube miter templates have seam located along bottom of tube (used to be on the side of tube).
- Option to disable the display of the rear dropout while still showing the rest of the frame.
- New desktop icon for PC and Mac versions.
- Mac version is now code signed. It also contains its own Java Runtime Environment version 1.7 and therefore does not require that Java be installed on the system. Another Mac version prepared with Java 1.5 is available for older Macs incapable of running Java 1.7.
- Additional brand logos added.
BikeCAD Pro version 11.7 was released October 25, 2014. Version 11.7 includes the following enhancements:
- Model a Pinion gearbox.
- Add down tube or bar end shifters.
- Additional brake levers.
- Option to specify the location for configuration files.
- File name, date and page numbering have been added to miter templates.
- Issue formerly affecting scale of miter templates for some Mac users of version 11.5 has been resolved.
- Saddle clamp on seatpost can be capped.
- A few new dimensions including: Handlebar to front axle (X).
- Additional brand logos added.
BikeCAD Pro version 11.71 was released October 27, 2014. Version 11.71 was solely released to correct an issue in version 11.7 which caused problems when selecting a non-default location for configuration files.
BikeCAD Pro version 11.72 was released October 31, 2014. Version 11.72 includes the following enhancements:
- Mac version is code signed on Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). This ensures the greatest compliance with Mac's Gatekeeper utility which was first introduced in Mac OS X 10.7.5.
- Updated Chinese and Italian translations.
- New dimensions including a second form of Saddle to handlebar reach.
- Corrected problem with Pinion gearboxes used in conjunction with non-tapered seat stays.
- Additional brand logos added.
BikeCAD Pro version 11.74 was released November 19, 2014. Version 11.74 includes the following enhancements:
- Additional brand logos added.
- Updated Italian translation.
- Fixed bug that prevented bikes with seat stays attached at seat tube pinch boss from being saved as default start model.
If you purchased BikeCAD Pro online from the new BikeCAD.ca web site, you should be able to login to their account and download version 11.71 as described here. For info on updating BikeCAD Pro while maintaining your previous configuration, see here.

Hello,
I can't intstall the mac version of BCPro11.0
I get the following error window:
"Bike Pro 11.0.app" is damanged and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash.

Can't Install on Windows 8.1 machine
I had to get a new PC and am reinstalling BikeCad Pro 11.5. I download the zip file, click it, see a pop up saying extracting 4 files. If finishes, disappears and then nothing. Can't find where the applicaiton was installed, or even if it was installed. Please help. Dealing with deadlines.

Run as administrator
I suspect the problem was you didn't select Run as administrator. This is described at: bikecad.ca/installing_on_a_pc. If you don't see this option, it's worth checking out this note: bikecad.ca/extract_file_first. Also, don't forget to install Java which you can download from java.com.
