tube diameter
I forgot how to change the tube diameter. My top tube is 29mm wide so how do I change it? I think my down tube is not the same either.
thanks Mike

If you've got a question about using the free online version of BikeCAD, post it here.

I tried the free version many years ago and I seem to remember there was a table where I would enter frame dimensions and from there I could derive tube cutting lengths, and front-centres. This version ? I can't figger out where the hell I do the simple design dimension inputs. The quick start puts me into a picture of a bike, and then I can get to a list of dimensions, but what then ?
Is there a "BikeCAD for Dummies" book available for chowderheads like myself ?
HI, Im trying to design a new bike i want to build, the B2B tandem bent, but i don t really know which "cad" i need for that.
Should i use the recumbent cad or the tandem one?
i want a bike a little similar to the flevobike design as the picture joined.
thanks for your help

Hi Brent,
In my balance bike design, I'd like the downtube and seat stay to appear aligned in the same slope. Initially the stays were parallel to the ground but instead I'd like it angled. When I turned on the seat stay feature it appears to not be displaying. Would you advise what features I should be adjusting to make this work?
Thanks
Could you tell me how to add head tube spacer?
Thanks
Hello,
I'm trying to model a frame that has a seat tube gusset. Since there is no specific way to do this, I used a curved top tube to model the gusset and a top tube attached seat stay with a double curve (one that is the real curve, the second is to "prolong" the top tube to it's rightful place. However, this produces some visual artifacts. Am I doing something wrong?

I am trying out BikeCAD free for a first build.
For now I am just copying the geometries of other bikes and there is one thing I can´t understand.
If I look at example the leader Kagero 2013 it has an effective toptube lenght of 540mm and a front center distance of 600mm according to the specifications of the manufacturer.
So if I set the effective toptube lenght to 540mm I end up with a front center distance of 564mm.
I am trying to add lines to the bike frame...basically, they are intersecting lines that form a grid on the bike and I can't figure out how to draw them on the frame. They should be both vertical and horizontal lines of different colors. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Is there any way to move the top bar down from the head tube to the down tube?
It's been working great for me the past two days then all of the sudden this morning it went from fast to pain stakingly slow..... why?
I've been using the same computer and internet connection the entire time
