I can't seem to export my BikeCAD file to FreeCAD. I get some error messages when I hit the green play button, but don't know enough about what I'm looking at to determine what is wrong. Anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have updated from BikeCAD Pro 16 to version 17 sooner this week, and I realise I cannot export pictures (bmp, jpg, png) or pdf anymore. I can select the output folder and filename, click "save", but no file is created. In the case of pdf export, the problem log shows up with this error: SVG2PDF Error 1 java.io.FileNotFoundException "path_to_file": access not permitted

I can export to FreeCAD in the same folder with no problem, and SVG files as well.

I tryed running as an administrator but same issue.

Dis someone had the same problem?

Thanks,

I entered my Breeze style dropouts from Nova Cycle Supply by selecting Custom; defined by parameters; hooded. Then I entered the dimentions and it appears the CS and SS aren't automaticallly adjusting. Why not? Im sure its just me.

Fork Crown Clearance disappearing fork

Hi Brent,

Recently it seems like the Fork Crown Clearance button has broken.

The issue is, the fork disappears when it would be showing at 90 degree rotation. It works at 0 and 180 degrees, just not 90. Obviously that's where I need it most for suspension forks with the DT.

I'm using v.17, but I think I saw it previously on v.16.

Windows 10 (version 2004).

I've loaded a bunch of different files that I know it used to work on but does not anymore.

Thanks!

Greg Wagenfuhr

Brent,

When attempting to instal the latest version I'm getting a 'Failed to create JVM' error message, followed by a 'Failed to launch JVM' message.

Hi Brent!

I was wondering if there is any way to design a custom yoke and export it from SolidWorks onto BikeCAD. I am working on a design and I dont currently see any features that would allow me to do this.

thx,

Miguel Esteva

Hello, do you have a primer on controlling all the fork variables? I am designing a track bicycles and would like to use a 1" x 24 mm cast fork crown but I'm challenged with inputing and designing the fork. Thank you.
