When I view the drawing I see an extra set of tubes and tires plus feet that are displayed horizontally. It would be nice if I could turn them off.

Snapshot tool
I assume the only reason you are seeing extra feet and tubes is that you have accidentally used the snapshot tool. You can either turn off the display of this extra image by unselecting the photo icon
in the Display dialog box, or by removing the image all together by selecting File >> Remove photo.
