chainstay miters not symmetrical

Hello

My intention for my first bikeframe is to have both chainstays be identical in terms of dimensions and in their orientation with respect to the bottom bracket. I have been looking over hte bikecad miter templates and I am wondering why the miter templates for the chainstays are not symmetrical? Is bikecad adjusting the angle of the seatstays to make room for the chain? I am also wondering if both chainstays are currently angled 9 degrees inward. Is their a setting to ensure both chainstays and seatstays are symmetrical? I have attached pictures of the chainstays in bikecad and the chainstya miters form bikecad below.

Chainstay miters

The chainstay miter templates you've shown will result in symmetric stays. Note that in each case, the line representing the non-drive side of the stay is in the middle of the template. The non-drive side of the non-drive side chainstay is on the outside of the stay while the non-drive side of the drive side chianstay is on the inside of the stay (the side facing the wheel).

Let me know if this doesn't clear things up.
