I'm a cyclist in San Jose, California, USA. I'm 64, and have been riding multispeed bikes since 1958. I have a custom frame built by Silva Cycles (www.silvacycles.com) which is a great improvement for me in comfort and rideability. I'm interested in putting in the specs for my bike and then seeing if I can move my center of gravity a bit toward the rear, and relieve some of the weight on my hands. I'm long in the torso, or short in the arms and legs, and have always felt that too much weight on my hands, and too much effort expended in the butt staying on the saddle, make it hard for me to go beyond 60 miles on a regular basis.
