Cutting Bent Down Tube 29ER

BikeCAD Pro How To Forum

Hi, i am using a columbus zona bent down tube on a 29er build, with BikeCAD 9.16 (i cant uodate to the newest version because we only have 9.16 at school, i attend Adams Grammar)

I am trying to work out how far in i need to place my template at the head tube end of the down tube, because if i just cut it off the straight line length the angle will not be correct. It is hard to use the A measurement for this because it is measured to the theoretical centre of the curve which is difficult to pinpoint in real life.

Thanks

Ben Turner

How did I name the dimensions?

Don't know what I did but I managed to replace the numerical values of the dimensions with their names.

Reloading it reverted to normal, but a diagram with named dimensions on might be handy in the future how would I repeat this (on purpose).

BikeCAD Pro How To Forum

Hey there,

I have been using BikeCAD Pro for some months now and I love this software. There is just one thing for that I really need your help:

I developed a special frame and I want to check the riding positions of several riders (with different measures) on the same frame (unisize). Unfortunately the preview of the rider does not change after changing the rider’s measures. What can I do?

Thank you very much for your help.

Cheers

Johannes

BikeCAD Pro How To Forum

Good Evening, I am having a very difficult time getting a 40 mm tire to fit in a frame with clearance (physically and in the software) while using a 175mm crank arm with 36 small ring and a 46 large ring. 425 mm long chain stays. Do you guys have any advice?

Thank you for your time

Please forgive me if this issue has been addressed in another forum already.

I'd like tp have individual print outs of both seat and chain stays. Even though I've centered each on the page in BikeCAD they show up in pdf as low or high and to the left..

how can i change this?

Thanks

Hi All, I am brand new to BikeCAD Pro (and BikeCAD). I've been trying to find the menu where I can change the bike logo/text but can't find it nor could I find anything on it in the help menu. If someone can direct me to the proper menu that would be great. Thanks

Patrick

Hey,

Is there a measurement offered between the side of a tire and the CS or SS? I'm probably blind but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks!

Dropper Post Color

Love the update!

In regards to the dropper post color, right now when you change the color of the actual sliding portion of the dropper it changes the color of the whole dropper, is it possible to have two different colors, one for the post and one for the sliding portion, similar to the Fox Transfer?

Also it would be really awesome to have an overlay of tubes w/ butting profiles on the tubes to ensure everything fits. Right now I am stuck bringing everything into autocad and that is a real PITA.
