From fit dimensions to bike dimensions

Fitting Advice Forum

Hi !

I've done a bike fit and the bikefitter used your tool to model the recommended new bike.

I was trying to play around with the free version and wondered if there's a tool that enables calculation of custom dimensions.

Such as :

- Saddle to drops

- Saddle to hoods

- Handlebar drop

Reversedly, is it possible to take a bike frame (e.g. Fairlight secan 2.5 size 56t) and determine a few dimensions based on the custom dimensions.

For example : for a size 56t, what stem length would yield a saddle to hoods of 69.5?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

From fit dimensions to bike dimensions

You can definitely do all of this, but most of the required dimensions are only available in BikeCAD Pro. I understand that you are neither a builder nor a bike fitter. Some in your position have actually purchased BikeCAD Pro so they can collaborate with fitters or builders on a new bike and I am grateful to anyone who has done that. However, if you are not in a position to justify the full cost of the program I can offer coupon codes to bring the price down to something that works for you. Please reach out to me if you'd like to discuss this option.
