Can you add Schindelhauer's tail hook?
There are 2 types of Schindelhauer tailhooks, can they be added to the Gates belt drive system?

If you've got a question about using BikeCAD Pro, the stand alone application for frame builders, bike shops and fit specialists, post it here.

Hello Brent,
I just updated to FreeCad 21.1 on my PC. I tried opening my BikeCAD files in Freecad but get a bunch of errors in red in the report view instead of a solid model. I used to be able to open my BC files in older verisons of FreeCad.
So I tried to install the BikeCAD macro to see if that would work but I get the error "Something went wrong with the pip install/upgrade of requests, possibly does not exist"
I'm running BikeCAD pro V19 on a PC.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

is what my (v19.0, windows) version looks like- there doesn't seem to be the option depicted in the tutorial and which I could swear I'd seen previously. I'm on Windows 10 and the latest update of Java etc.
Did something change or have I messed it up somehow?
I'm designing a frame with curved seat tube.
The setting is 1 curve using method 2. But don't know why the minimum S1 i can set is 4.1mm. My aim is a curved seat tube with zero S1.
Everytime I set the number below 4.1mm, it just got stuck, cannot progress. When I try to save the file in this stage, it got stuck too or, more worse, the file got corrupt and can't be open anymore!
Do anybody encountered the same issue?
Is that any setting I've got wrong? Is the S1 has a minimum limited value??
Please help!
Thanks in advance.
Hey Brent,
I'm using sliding dropouts (Allotec) for the first time and ran a full-size printout to help figure things out. When I measured the print to confirm there wasn't any scaling issues I noticed that the dropouts are spaced about 146 or 147mm apart not the expected 135mm (internal geared hub).
Are the dropouts represented in the aux view the "body" of the dropout and not the insert?
Thanks
Hi Brent,
I've been using the BikeCAD pro program for the last 10 years upgrading to each new version as its been released. I downloaded the latest version of BikeCAD a few weeks ago and have been struggling with this edition randomly crashing or freezing and not responding.
I'm on an aging windows 10 pc 32 bit version with 4gb ram so it chugs along steadily but no previous versions have crashed like this.... any suggestions

When I export a bike that includes the bosch mid drive unit and housing to Freecad it either fails or leaves out the motor and housing.
If I switch the same bike to a standard bottom bracket it works fine.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks
So I am building a fat bike with Paragon dropout DR2095 and it is sweet that it is in the static drawings.. but it doesn't seem to translate the dimensions on the seat say and chain say views ??
side view its all there.. what am i missing ?? I have fiddled and added width dimensions but the 1 inch round dropout i am not sure how to adj.
also getting chainstay and seatstay miter distance?? how do i toggle that ??
I recently made a few changes on my home computer (bought a new machine to replce an aging iMac, migrated files to the new computer, and changed my username / home directory). I'm running Mac OS Ventura on an Mac Studio M1 Ultra. When I recently tried to open BikeCAD 19.0, I received an error message: "Can't extract configuration files". Is there an easy fix for this?
